Happy Summer!Hope you have been enjoying yours! I've had a great and exciting one so far enjoying impromtu barbeques along with the company of friends and family. There's nothing like a good southern barbeque, even if you are eating tofu dogs...
Last month I got to stay in Greensboro, North Carolina to film a commercial for Lowes Foods, which you can watch by clicking here or on the link below. It was neat for me to get to do the voice over as well as the on camera work for it. I always enjoy working in NC and, while I was there, I got to hang out with some of my friends from the movie "Hellphone".
Back in GA, I had a wonderful time on the set of "Drop Dead Diva", which if you've never seen it, is a really fun show. Brooke Elliott, who plays the title character (above) isn't just a brilliant actress, she's also an incredibly sweet person. It comes on Lifetime Sundays at 9/8c. I'm in the 9th episode of this new season, which will most likely air in late July or early August.
Finally, and most exciting of all, I got cast in the supporting role of Brenda in the SAG feature film "Plus One", which is shooting here in Atlanta. We have already started rehearsing some of the scenes with more complicated blocking, and will start filming in a couple of weeks. I'll be busy working on it until the end of July. My character is really fun, the script is great, and I can't wait to start shooting!
