THE INTERROGATION OF CHERYL COOPER - Opening Clip

Ask and you shall receive.

In my Filmmaker Diary blog I was just lamenting how there didn't seem to be a whole bunch of Cult Goddess News for the blog this time of year.

Well, following Tommie Vegas on Facebook has paid off in a clip from Albert Pyun's "The Interrogation of Cheryl Cooper".  It's basically a look at the opening credits, which seem to be setting up the atmosphere for a suspenseful, dark movie.  Take a look for yourself.

As you can see, the movie, starring Tommie Vegas and Brittany Bochart, has won multiple festival awards.

Find out more by following the movie's official Facebook Page. https://www.facebook.com/interrogationofcherylcooper/

You May Know Her as a BADASS CHEERLEADER

It's no secret that Kelli Maroney is a favorite at "Cult Goddess Magazine".  She defined the persona of a Cult Goddess in "Night of the Comet" and she continues to be a shining part of genre films today.

If you want to keep up with her appearance schedules and just things that are new in her career, she has a new, content full, website: https://www.kellimaroney.com/

Plan on spending some time there, because there's plenty see.   I'm going to highlight a bit of it here, but be sure to visit the site and bookmark it, so you don't miss out on anything.  Better yet, sign up for the mailing list while you're there to keep up on all of the biggest news.

A Publication After Our Own Hearts Coming Soon - Women of Darkness

If you've followed anything we've done here at Hocus Focus Productions, I think you'll agree that most times when we see someone who shares our interests, we see them as a kindred spirit rather than competition.  I usually hope that they feel the same way.  "Women of Darkness" is going to be one of those publications that we hope we can help out and vice-verse.

I found out about W.O.D. from the magazine's Marketing Director, Amy Crabtree.  She writes:

Women Of Darkness was created by Steven Chang! I (Amy Crabtree) am the Marketing director. We are not in print form yet, but will be soon next year. We work with many prominent actresses and models in the Independent horror film scene. Included are: Jenn Nangle, Lara Jean Mummert, Brialynn Kim-Massie, Johanna Rae, Mel Heflin,Layla Dideban, Liane Langford, Genoveva Rossi, Morrigan Thompson,Nikki Siebi,The band Iejir, Ashley Mary Nunes and so many more!

The W.O.D. Facebook page reads: We offer free promotional spotlights for many people ranging from actresses, models (including alt/gothic, pinups, horror models) to writers, filmmakers etc. We also are now promoting musicians (bands) and horror events as well.
Sure we mostly deal with women. But we can make exceptions for men as well. Want information regarding a spotlight or promotion, feel free to send us a PM. If you want a spotlight or promotion, feel free to contact us as well. Same for if you would like to join the page. Serious inquiries only though.

To help with branding and to keep people's attention, the magazine also has a spokes model.  Allow me to introduce you to "the face" of "Women of Darkness", Morrigan Thompson.

It's Here! Roxsy Tyler's House of Horrors on Prime

Late last month we announced the return of  "Roxsy Tyler's House of Horrors".
Today is the day it's released to Amazon Prime.

Below is the trailer.

Once you've watched it, please RATE IT and REVIEW IT.  I know it can be tough to jump on your laptop after seeing a show, but for indie releases like this, ratings and reviews are so important to help get the word out.  So if you enjoy it, please share that information on social media AND on Amazon's website.

Thanks.

Late Birthday Wishes and a CGM Alum in Need

Recently it was Monique Dupree's birthday, and we here at Cult Goddess Magazine would like to wish her the best year possible.  Right now she's going through a bit of a rough time.  Those of  you into fitness know how tough it is for someone who is normally physically active to be knocked down for awhile.  It gets inside  your head.  Add a birthday, holidays and kids into the mix and things can get really depressing.  Monique is one of the most positive people I follow on Facebook, so I want to help her keep that positivity.

I'm sharing her video update with all of her Cult Goddess fans.  There's also a GoFundMe page to help with bills associated with the surgery and need for time off, which you can find a link to on our Cult Goddess Magazine group page.  (I'm  not sure of blogger.com's policies, so I'm not linking here directly.)

If you can help, please do.
Please share.
Please leave messages of support for Monique.

You've read about Monique Parent back when CGM was an online mag.
Now you can follow her YouTube Channel to keep up with her career and life on a regular basis.

Here's her latest to give you an idea of the types of thing you can expect, but check the channel, because she has a lot going on and topics can change pretty often.
